Certifications

Certifications are one way that Precision Electronic Glass demonstrates our quality policy based on our commitment to excellence. Subsequently, our goal is total customer satisfaction. We will deliver premium-valued products, on time, with unrivaled service, and we dedicate ourselves to continual improvement. To that end, we work with recognized organizations to earn relevant quality certifications.

PEG is registered to the ISO 9001 Standard; Certificate Number US95/0372, issued by SGS International Certification Services, Inc.

Our Certifications:

International Organization for Standardization

ISO 9001  specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, andb) as a result, aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)

Our certifications also include ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) which is an export control regulation of the US Government. In short, it helps ensure that defense-related technology does not get into the wrong hands.

Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals

Also important among our certifications, REACH is a regulation of the European Union. REACH improves the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals. Similarly, it is also intended to enhance the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry.

Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive

RoHS has its roots in the European Union back in 2003. Primarily, the goal of RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) is to reduce the environmental effect and health impact of electronics. As a result, the legislation’s purpose is to make electronics manufacturing safer at every stage of an electronic device’s life cycle.
